You need to be direct it's not about being nice women need to be strong and serious when asking for something especially when it is about money I think that women are raised to be nice well it puts us at a disadvantage in the buisness world we want equal pay we need to be equally strong this is a great example for alot of young women!! marching in the street in silly costumes will not put is at an equal footing in the buisness world be ruthlessly serious you need more.money for what you are doing stand up and say so . I'm not just directing this at your question  I am saying it to every girl that reads this get what you deserve don't worry about nice men never do
