slacking on my pre-nates

I was really good in the beginning- took them everyday for 2 weeks before TTC until 8 weeks pregnant. Around then I've been taking one a day instead of 2 and slack some days. My diet is much improved in 2nd trimester- eating lots of fruits, yogurt, proteins, some veggies.
I still take them- just not like I did for the first 10 weeks of this journey. Any ladies notice vitamin slacking in 2nd tri? I'm 17 weeks- I know the most crucial time for Folic acid is first 6-8 weeks and then after that - isn't it kind of based on how you feel? I plan to start daily DHA in a couple weeks since it's important during 3rd tri but tbh I'm getting bored of my daily vitamin...
