I used to get them ALL THE TIME when I was a kid. But since I've gotten my period I haven't gotten a single one. My mom would buy me tons of cranberry juice and take an antibiotic and it would clear up pretty quick. But other things you can do is drink loads of water, avoid caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, carbonated drinks, artificial sweeteners, and spicy food, get lots and lots of vitamin C, pee alot even if it's only a little every time you pee it rids some of the bacteria causing the infection, and I've never done it but you can try taking herb uva ursi (Bearberry leaf) but you need to be very careful not to use too much or for more than 5 days as it can cause liver damage, or the herb goldenseal might help. If you do take either of those make sure to inform your doctor because it can cause complications with certain medications

Went to the hospital they gave me a urine test, detected the bacteria and they gave me antibiotics. There's no other way to get rid of it. If you wait too long it can shit down your kidneys. Go to the hospital. Plus if you wait for it to get worse you will piss blood and it hurts like a bitch. I couldn't walk
