Horror movies?

I am 20 weeks pregnant with my first and my mother said if I watch any horror movie it is baby for my baby. Is this true or is it just an old wives tale?

Honey if horror movies were bad for an unborn baby then mine would not have had a chance. I love horror movies and watched them endlessly (to the point that my husband changed the Netflix password lol) and my kids are fine. No mutations, missing limbs, or want for blood or raw flesh as food.

Actually I heard something along those lines. But if you watch scary movies & the movie frightened you as a result you grab your belly that's how a birth mark shows up. HONESTLY I think it's a Hispanic thing cause all my husband side said that who actually was Hispanic. Weird.

I only watch i horror movies I just love them lol babies are all fine
