Why was my period so late?

I was on what would've been cycle day 70 when my period came yesterday. I don't understand what's happening with me. My periods are usually regular, with a few exceptions. But there has been NOTHING like this. I'm just so confused.

Did you see a doctor? Your period is affected if you have changes in your health. If a person is sickly or has an ED, they can skip periods, things like that. The first time i got my period, i had surgery and skipped a couple periods after. Not sure exactly which was the reason or if it was a combination. Ive had other surgeries/similar surgery and didnt skip periods after. Birth control can also play havoc with your cycle. Theres a lot of things that could have happened.

That is really interesting. I've always heard that stress, new job, new environment, or other things like that can contribute. So maybe you were really, REALLY stressed? Idk. But I'm 10 days late on my period so I hope it's just a false alarm like yours was!
