first period after starting BC???

I just had my first period since starting the pill, and it is AWFUL!! Cramps are out of control and I've thrown up the last two days. Anyone else have this much trouble adjusting to birth control??

I would call your Gyno and ask if it is a normal reaction to that particular type of birth control. Every person reacts differently to different types of the pill, so it could just be your body's way of reacting and adjusting, but it still wouldn't hurt to call just incase.
