I recently moved from the mirena which I had used for nearly 14 years, to the nuva-ring. At first my periods were heavy (assuming it's because I hadn't actually had a period for the better part of a decade.) I'm 6 months in, and this last (current) period was very dark colored, but very light in terms of flow and has lasted 11 days. Does that mean it will stop soon? I hate periods, so I use the ring for 4 weeks instead of the standard 3.
