UPDATE: I JUST GOT IT PLACED AND IT WAS FINE!! The worst part was actually her measuring my uterus. It was about 3 seconds of a sharp pain right in my cervix. When they put the actual Paraguard in, it was an intense cramp (so dull pain) for about 5 to 10 seconds. Now I'm having spotting and slight cramping. It was nowhere near what I thought it would be, I was assuming a 8 to 10. At the very worst it was a 4! Overall it was a 1 to 2. I'm so glad I got it. 10 minutes of a little uncomfort to be 10 years baby free!

I'm getting my IUD today. I've waited so long and this came out of nowhere! I literally found out today! It's a few hours away and I'm terrified. I'm going in alone and I'm scared about the pain. Is it only a few seconds? What if I close my legs out of pain? Someone calm me down without scaring me. 😟😟😟
