highlighting your hair?!

Is it ok to get a full head blonde highlight during the 1 st trimester? 😬👩🏼‍💻🤰🏼

I think they recommend waiting until the second trimester but highlight is better than dying your whole head. If you do end up doing it just make sure you are in a well ventilated area

But they do warn you that your hormones can make your hair reach differently to dye so it may look a little different than usual. I dye my hair and it looks normal to me.

My doctor told me hair coloring is fine. There isnt enough of the product that gets into your bloodstream to be worried about. She said the main concern is the fumes and so do it in a well ventilated area. Highlights are better then all over color and if you are worried just let your hair stylist know you are pregnant and maybe there are some precautions she can take. My hair stylist worked her entire pregnancy and was fine😊
