Is it bad I don't want any testing done on my baby?
I had my first prenatal visit on Monday and my DR asked me if I wanted any testing to be done to check for down syndrome, mental retardation, any birth defects, etc and I straight up without a question said no.
After the appointment I asked my husband what he thought because I didn't care to ask for his opinion and he said I should've said yes because he wants to be prepared but honestly I don't want any test done because I'm going to love my baby no matter what or how they are born.
Am I doing the right thing or should I reconsider for my next appointment??
