baby bump and your SO?

Ladies if your pregnant and your partner doesn't seem to show much interest in your bump. Example He doesn't really seem excited when baby is moving, doesn't talk to baby much etc. do you think that reflects how he will be as a father?

Nope, not at all. This is my second pregnancy, & my husband isn't excited about things like that at all this time around. But I already know he's a great father because we have a daughter so I know it'll have no impact! I don't think it's as exciting to the men because they aren't actually the ones feeling it and experiencing it, you know?

My husband has always been this way and we are having our third child in a few months. I have to ask him to feel my belly most times or put his hand on it. He is more than willing to get things reasyvsidund the house and prepare for baby, but he doesn't interact with the bump much or get excited like I do. 
But, he's the most amazing father. He's so good with our babies when they're new and handles sleepless nights like a champion. Now that we have two toddlers, he's so hands on and interactive. He does bath and bed time every night and my children worship him. 
I think for guys it's just hard to connect to something they can't see or touch. It's like there is just this separation between it being reality or not until baby is there, in their arms.

My SO likes to feel the baby move or kiss or rub my belly and occasionally he'll say something like "love you both" to my bump.

my bf was like that he really didn't show any ( cute stuff ) towards my bump but he's not really serious person( he's not an outgoing person) he's more of a quiet person..and since our bb girl been born( she's now 6 months) he does talks to her plays once in a while with her ) ..but I think it depends on the way ur husband is ( person is)... that's my opinion..but yes my bf loves her alot;)
