So I went to the hospital because I was having spotting/bleeding on what I thought was week 6 day 1 of my pregnancy. I was taking HPTs every day and my line was getting lighter and lighter so I just had a really bad feeling when I saw the blood. Abdominal and trans vag ultrasounds both said no baby and my hcg was only 32. It would have been exactly 10 days after my period was expected to start. 

After leaving the hospital the bleeding slowly picked up but is still not a crazy amount. I had some cramping but just typical period like cramps nothing like I've heard described by other women who have suffered miscarriages. My question is am I having an actual miscarriage or is this considered a chemical pregnancy? Is it my period that I'm having? I really want to try again for a baby but I don't know what's going on...help!!
