Struggling to catch LH surge!

I have problems catching my LH surge every cycle, but no reason to believe I'm not ovulating. Been using opks since cd6, missed out cd9 and cd12 as couldn't test then. I've had fertile cp/cm from cd 11-16, really strong ov pains cd13. Today cd17, cp has dropped to lfc for the first time since cd10.
