Do they teach sex Ed anymore?

I'm not even being sarcastic, I'm genuinely curious? The young ladies and even older ones shock me. Can I test the day after sex? Do I get my period while pregnant? Can I get pregnant by giving a BJ? And then when you get answers that you don't like you cuss up a storm!! Please invest in reading about your body. Google is also online like this app

I'm not really sure why we left it up to schools in the first place. It's our jobs as parents to educate our children about their bodies.

My so and I weren't taught abstinence only. We attended separate schools in separate states, he attended a public & I a private. We were both taught to buy condoms, take birth control and were made well aware of planed parenthood and their patient confidentiality. They taught us how to put a condom on and off and about different types of birth control. This was 6-12 grade. 
Still people got pregnant. You could give someone all the resources they need but at the end of the day, its up to them to use them. Honestly, there are lot of ignorant children playing parents

They do, but I think its simply covered. To remember you need to have a teacher that doesn't feel embarrassed to talk.

I think it's sad that people expect schools to teach children about sex.  That is something that the parents need to be teaching, I would never let anyone teach my children about sex.

That being said, I'm pretty sure schools teach sex ed, but I'm pretty they aren't mandatory.

They do but the schools don't do a good job. Also I think the teens in my generation do not talk to their parents or guardians about sex and the body. It's too "weird".

Most states require abstinence only education. Not a good enough reason to be ignorant about your body, but still.

Last I knew (at least in my area) they still push abstinence....I think this is why some women are completely clueless.
