ADHD meds & pregnancy
Sooo I'm now about five weeks pregnant. I've been taking ADHD meds for ten years. It's nearly impossible for me to function without them. I switched over to concerta recently, nothing to do w the pregnancy, and I'm well aware they all fall into the classC category. I've still been taking it as needed, especially for work. I read that your doctor will weigh out the benifits for you VS the dangers for your baby. Obviously , my baby comes first. But I can't even imagine doing my job and even simple tasks without this medication. I have my first appointment with my gyno in two weeks. So it's up in the air and I'm contemplating getting an earlier appointment with my therapist to weigh out my options. Sadly, I'm scared she'll just take me right off without questioning it.
Has anyone had a similar situation? What did your doctors have to say about it? Thanks in advance 😘
