At what MO should babies learn how to hold there bottle?

My baby is about to be 7MO. She still doesn't know how to hold it on her own. But she never liked to be held or be in arms so would always lay her down and give it to her with a blanket. Its my fault. 😒

Mine started at 5 months because he was a piggy. I could never feed that boy fast enough. 
Dont beat yourself up. Babies do what they want when they want. Not every baby meets expected milestones and that is totally okay.

Pintrest has good ideas on how to do that. I had seen one of those toddler toy balls with holes in it, kind of looks like a cage. The bottle fits in the holes making the ball like a cage around the bottle. It helps their tiny hands hold on to something.

I worked with infants in a childcare center and we had many babies that wouldn't hold their own bottles around that age. We would put them in a bouncy chair and hand them the bottle. We would let them try for a few minutes and then help feed them after that. Putting their hands on the bottle and just barely helping hold it up seemed to help.
