strings?

I've had my IUD for a little over a year and I haven't been able to feel the strings for pretty much the whole time but it seems likes it is still doing it's job. So the other day I decided to check and once again I couldn't feel them. When is the best time to check to feel the strings?

My strings were left as they were and they sometimes curl around the call of my cervix. If you can feel the opening of your cervix, you should be able to feel the strings coming out somewhere. I usually check once or twice a month. Maybe every week if I am paranoid.

I haven't ever been able to feel mine either then I just read this and was able to feel them . Don't lay all the way back but kinda lay back and put your finger up until you can feel them
