Does anyone else get sharp pains throughout your lower abdomin??!

So i'm supposed to be getting my period in about a week and i was wondering if there are any others girls who get this feeling - it feels like there is a random sharp pain in your lower abdomin, like where your fallopian tubes are?! 
It only happens when i'm closed to my period and it's the strangest thing!! 😮😧

You could have Ovarian Cysts which is very common in woman. You often begin to feel the pain around your period. I have them myself and they can get pretty bad at times. The best way to deal with them is to take a hot shower/bath, cuddle up with a heating pad, and try to take a nap if you have the time.

Yeah for about the first 24 hours or so of my period I have this extreme pain in my lower abdomen and back. Last month I couldn't even get through two hours of school before I called my mom to get me 😥😥

I get them too! I've been told that it happens because of ovulation.
