Mine was gray last pregnancy. I don't think color matters as long as there's no blood. 
Lost my plug last time a week or more before delivery, so it doesn't mean your going into labor today or tomorrow. When you do, though, good luck!

It doesn't mean much, since your mucus plug regenerates. The only time to get checked is if you start bleeding or your water brakes
