Have you ever quit your job without giving any notice? If so, why?

I did before but i had another job already and they had screwed me over. One of my managers even told me they were trying to make an example out of me and the only reason the chose me was cuz I was nice and they didn't think I would do anything about it. So yeah not very professional but hey deserved it as far as I'm concerned

I quit a job one week shy of 2 years there because I hated working there so much it was a terrible job and it caused me anxiety and made me have nausea so bad I had to go to the doctor for medication for it and then I started getting the anxiety diarrhea so I was in the restroom on a Monday morning shitting my brains out and decided this place ain't worth it. So I got done on the toilet and grabbed all my stuff from my locker and walked straight out the door without saying a word to anyone.  I didn't and still don't feel like they deserved a notice.. piece of shit place.

Nope. Where I live you have to give 3 weeks notice so the employer has enough time to try find a replacement for you.

I did once at mcdonalds. I was young and working 8 hour shifts everyday at 16. My manager forced me to stay late and was a dick about it so I brought my stuff back to them that night and said sorry but i quit. I went back a couple days later to give my boyfriend something bc he worked there too. The main manager pulled me aside and said other people have had problems with that manager before. She asked if I would come back to work there, she wouldnt schedule me with him anymore. It was not my proudest moment but the manager wanted me back so i agreed. I still work there and in 18. It was a shitty time but everyone understood. He finally got tranferred to another restaurant.

Yes!  Where I live it is simply a nice thing to do, but not required by law.  However, if you do put in your notice and then your employer cuts your hours then they owe you the difference.

Yes, my 2nd job, my boss was a bitch and would always be complaining about something i did, i was only there barely 2 weeks. She took her sweet ass time giving me my checks because of it too.
