TMI, we have never done this. How do you take precautions to make sure things aren't awful?!

Have sex on the lighter days. Just recently did this for the first time and it was very pleasurable. Oh, and you'll probably want to shower before and after just so it's less traumatic for your SO.

We don't. Husband is squeamish about blood and I don't mind waiting. My period only lasts 3-4 days. Now I'm huge pregnant and we're struggling to find ways to have sex comfortably lol, but at least I don't have a period to deal with!

We would put a towel down but now they have a product called FlexFits. It's a menstral product that you can use and have no mess sex. Haven't used it myself but I've looked into it.

Period sex is amazing. We always put a towel down. Aside from my husband having some blood on his penis it's not a big deal. I feel super revved up mid period so it's always great sex then. though I will admit the only thing better than period sex has been pregnancy sex. Oh man hah.

It's never been that messy, even on my heavy days. My husband has to go clean up a bit after but I think it's fair since I'm usually the one that needs to clean up lol! But otherwise, period sex is awesome for me!

I've done it on the last day or two of my period. It's more fun because it's not so messy, and I was super aroused which made it even more fun.
