IUD Questions

I have had my mirena for almost a year now. I stopped breast feeding my 14 month old 4 months ago. Slowly but surely I have gotten cramping and slight spotting (pink discharge and blood specks) every week on and off a couple days. Is this normal? Am I going to get a full period again? Never bled up until a couple months ago.
