Natural remedies?

So I've been TTC for 16 mo with a 9 cm fibroid. I have used castor oil packs (I think it has helped some), been seeing an acupuncturist and last month I did an herbal vigina steam (I think has been the most helpful). What have you guys tried? My periods are beyond terrible with heavy bleeding and lots of clots and flooding. Looking for any and all suggestions for help! Medical world just tells me to cut it out...I'm not ready for that yet!

I have been taking 2000 to 4000IU of vitamin D daily for two moths. I think this is the reason my periods have returned to the normal range (5 days, no flooding, almost no clotting, little to no cramping). I have several fibroids including one submucosal in the uterine cavity, the rarest type of fibroid know to cause severe bleeding and to be capable of interfering with conception. My periods became so heavy that I was too anemic for surgery.  There are some studies from reputable sources (including the National Institutes of Health) suggesting vitD may protect against fibroids and possibly shrink existing ones. So, after boosting my iron level with supplements and discussing it with my doctor, I decided to give vitD supplements (see dosing details in links below) a try for three to six months. Unfortunately I'm in the same boat. But i go into surgery Thursday. I'm actually excited. I'm ready for some good news.

I heard to drink lady's mantle tea, it's supposed to shrink them naturally. I tried it out, but I can't say that I saw a huge difference. Maybe because I started using this tea and in the same month I got focused Ultraound Therapy on them and my symptoms (heavier periods) were gone.

Nice to know vitamin D helps out...I already take a good amount to help keloids from a 3rd degree burn disappear

My best advice is to try serrapeptase. I had a robotic myomectomy in september to remove a fibroid that was the size of a grapefruit. But now I have a new fibroid :( so I have started the serrapeptase and the pain is bearable.

I had surgery and had mines removed....took me almost 3months to get healed. They were causing my back to hurt bad especially during my cycle. Good luck.
