should I be concerned?

Hi ladies. I have a question, I don't know if I am worrying for no reason but I'm a bit concerned about my one year-old. He turned one in January and shows no interest at all to start walking. When we try standing him up he will just drop to the floor and get pissed. He is my second baby and my first was showing signs before his first birthday. I haven't asked his doctor yet but I will address my concerns at his next appointment I just wanted to see if anyone else has experience something similar with their little ones.

Is he standing at all assisted? I wouldn't be concerned about not wanting to walk just yet, but if he's not wanting to bear weight on his legs that would concern me.

My daughter walked at 20 months and now has slight global motricity problems (she is almost 4). I was just told last week by her new pediatrician that it's because she's hyperlax.

At 12 months I definitely wouldn't worry but if in a couple of months he still seems uninterested maybe I would look into it!

My son was like that, he didn't walk until 14 months. He had no desire to. He was heavy too! It was killing me to carry him around everywhere

I work in a babysitting room and there was one child that didn't walk until 14 months but nothing was wrong with her
