when did you get a positive?

Just curious has anyone experienced a negative test the day before their period should start but still ended up being pregnant? I have all the signs of possible pregnancy but my test was negative today. I work nights too as a nurse so my first urine wasn't optimal.

With my first pregnancy, I got 2 negatives 😂 needless to say, I was 7 weeks pregnant!

Yes. I went to the ER the day my period was supposed to start (a Thursday) because of severe vertigo.  They ran a bunch of test including a pregnancy test (urine). The doctor called me later that afternoon to say I was pregnant. Didn't believe him since we'd 1) been trying for years with no success and 2) I hadn't technically missed my period then.

Took an over the counter test that Saturday and it was negative.  Went to my gyn for a blood test on Monday and found out Tuesday I was in fact pregnant.

All this to say I was somewhat salty that I didn't get to be like the smily, happy people in the ClearBlue commercials flashing their pee sticks. Mine told me I wasn't preggers.

I had 2 negatives and then a positive the same day.... so anything can happen. If its an early response  it should  read it

I was about 5 months along when I found out with both kiddos, so I got a positive right away. Never thought to double check lol. Even though someone had to tell me to test because I didn't believe them.
