What is a good time of day/night to take your birth control? I can't decide!

I'm always taking it at different times of the day, and I'm worried! I can't find a time that will always be good for me, is it really that big of a deal?

yeah i usually take mine at 9:30pm, i have an alarm because i'm usually always home doing nothing around that time! and my doctor said it's best to take it at night cause it was making me really nauseous so i would have to suffer through that for the entire day if i didn't take it at night! and yeah it's best to take it at the same time every day!

It actually is a big deal. Not taking it at the same time every day makes the pill less effective. I take mine at 8 pm because I'm usually home and that's what time I usually take a shower and do all my night routine stuff like brushing teeth and all that. If you have a routine thing that you do every day around the same time (like showering, brushing teeth, etc) then that would be a good time to take your pill as well.
