I am white and have dreadlocks

I'm doing this poll because I've gotten more negative responses to having dreadlocks then I thought I would. Like I've never thought to walk up to a woman of color and ask "why did you dread your hair". Hey the Vikings even dreaded their hair. Why can't I??
