Antibiotics make you poop more?

Question

I went on antibiotics for mi UTI and for a sore throat and since then I poop huge amounts, which is fine because I'm always usually constipated but, is it because of that or what could it be? I just finish my antibiotics and going back to the struggle so I do think it was because of them. Anyone else?

yes diarrhea can be side effect of all antibiotics because they kill the good bacteria in your gi tract

Most Antibiotics cause diarrhea which can be very dangerous. If you are having diarrhea with bloody mucus then it's important to tell your doctor.  If it's just regular bowel movement such as formed stool or even loose then it's okay. I hope this helps.

Yes, I remember once I was very sick and had intravenous antibiotics and couldn't stop pooping for about a day afterwards. Fun times LOL.
