I'm getting an IUD, but my gyno wanted me to get a blood test first because I told her I've had sex twice since my period ended. (Saturday and Sunday). Today is Tuesday and I am getting a blood test, and I will be getting an IUD Thursday, assuming it comes back negative. My question is, can pregnancy even be detected this early? It would only be 2-3 days after conception. I really doubt I'm pregnant but if for any reason the test came back false and I got the IUD I know that would be really bad.
