Born March 10, 2017

Elizabeth
Went in for a check up March 7 and they told me I would need to be induced due to hypertension. The picture below was 24 hours before Paxton's arrival!!!
Induction was not fun and more painful then anticipated. They had to put pills in my cervix to loosen it and then even had to put a balloon catheter in to help me dilate. After hours of back to back contractions and hardly any dilation I finally had to get an epidural. Finally after the epidural and 11 hours they gave me petocin. The petocin was messing with his heart rate so they would turn it on and off. Finally 19 hours of being in labor they said I could push. After four contractions and 12 pushes, Mr. Paxton arrived with few tears. He was a lot smaller then anticipated and didn't fit any of his clothes since he was 6lbs 10oz when born and went down to 5lbs 14oz when we left.
