IV tried these as a snack for myself at one time I recommend the strawberry ones they get kind of gummy so if cut them into 4 pieces each if you want to try them

Crawler is sort of a marker for you but I would say as soon as they can sit up or act interested in grabbing at them. It's good to encourage their pinching grasp that they do cus it's a good developmental point

Yes. Crawler means if your baby is crawling they can eat them. I had my child eating this stuff before she could even sit cause she knew how to chew
