Trying mucinex this month. How much do you take a day?

Ive been taking one pill of mucinex every day since CD 8 and I'm currently on CD14 I'm pretty sure I will O on CD 18 but so far I haven't noticed an increase in CM. What have your experiences been? Should I take more then one? Did your CM increase the closer you got to O? I'm a little worried Mucinex may not work for me! :(

I don't think it's working for me either. I've been talking it for 5 days now, once a day (12 hr kind). I've also been drinking a lot of water as I've heard that is important. Makes it incredibly difficult to hold my pee for opk testing! If I don't get my bfp this cycle I don't know if I'll try the mucinex again.

I was taking it but stopped I was feeling sick taking it maybe too strong for me. I'm trying pre-seed instead. Used last night an it was a hit using it today again. Let's hope for that BFP.

Taking Charge of your fertility book says to do it 3x a day (2teaspoons) for the fertile 5-7 days , through to the rise of your temp. After the temp rise/ovulation stop taking it. I'm taking Tussin that ONLY has 1 ingredient Gafinessin (sp?) the other ingredients dry you out and cause potential birth defects. And drink water. 
​This month I'm noticing a huge difference in the consistency (tmi) but the amount doesn't increase which is very normal.

In taking the 12 hr kind once a day around 3ish since cd9 and will continue thru O day. I'm on clomid which they say dries it up so hopefully the mucinex will help the spermies along.
