New Birth Control??!!!!

So I'm right now in the Nexplanon bar. I've wanted to get it out for a long time. I had my period for 8 months straight (after I went to the doctor and told them it was 8 months they have me estrogen then the pill and the pill got rid of it but if I stop taking the pill it comes back), itchyness, pain during sex, I've gotten bad yeast infections (I'm also in 2 seasons of swim team so wearing a tampon/pad everyday and then wearing a wet swimsuit is bad) and basically no sex drive at all. I was thinking about switching to the shot, but I'm not sure. I'm 16, and I just need advice and I'm asking for your guyses opinions please!!
