cervix check?

35+3 weeks I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. Should I ask to get a cervix check? When do doctors usually check?

I'm 37 weeks and tomorrow I'm going to ask my midwife to check for the first time!

You could ask but why would you want them poking around up there? Even if you're dilated it could be weeks before anything happens.

My midwife doesn't do them because they often give false hope that labor is imminent.

I had my cervix check yesterday I'm 37 weeks n few days, still closed no chance, I'm sure they can check at 35 weeks also 😀

Normally 36 weeks, but since I'm close they checked me today.

I got it 35 weeks, but it's one of the most painful uncomfortable things to do. Over 2-1/2 weeks I only went up a centimeter and dilated a little more.
