going by your last period.. are you really that far along?

so going by my last period i am 7 weeks today! has anyone gone by their last period and get to the doctor and they tell you your farther along or not that far? my appointment is next thursday but i just don't know if i should be positive that i'm 7 weeks or not!

I'm actually two days behind bc I ovulate a little late and was tracking it. Sure enough I'm measuring right on track wth my actual conception date, not my LMP, which are only two days apart.

I was very surprised too. By my last period when I went to the doctor I would of been around 8 weeks and the baby measured for that time. So it was a surprise especially when I know I ovulated like 2 weeks later... I'm almost at 11 weeks and I hope date stays the same when I go in again :)

It's different for everyone. Had it been based off my last period I would have been 3 weeks ahead of what I am right now. When I went for my first ultrasound I measured 7w instead of what would have been 10w based on my lmp

It just depends on when you actually ovulated and conceived. Oddly enough I ovulated on a perfect 28 day cycle so going off my last period was exact. But I know that's not usually the case for most women.

I monitored my periods and ovulation for 1.5 years prior to us trying to start conceiving so I was fairly confident in my dates. We conceived on the day I ovulated (Jan 19) which puts me at 11 weeks exactly-MD confirmed this😄

Going off of my lmp I would have been 8 weeks at my first appointment. I ended up being just under 5 weeks

Going by my LMP I'm 7weeks 2 or 3days (2 different apps give me 2 different days 😒) I have a scan tomorrow to see if that is correct. I use get out back a week, really hoping I don't think time. 🤞

For me baby was actually measuring perfectly for my last period ! 😊 it was crazy ! Haha I wasn't expecting it to match 😊
