Would you wait for the guy you like a lot?

Would you wait for him even if you haven't seen him since Christmas eve, and he's been busy with work (NASCAR). I feel like giving up on him already I have been knowing him for a year and a half going on two years. We slept together but because of his work schedule we haven't seen each other. He says he will try but ends up going home late at night from the flights and is tired. We live 10 minutes apart. I honestly don't know if I should wait for him, I'm on the fence of parting ways with him and no longer speak to him. But I like him a lot and the sex with him was amazing but it made no difference as to how I feel towards him but since we haven't seen each other I'm losing my feelings for him. But if he were to say come over I'm sure I'd be right there at his door step. Any suggestions on what to do?? Comment below because I'm on the fence. I made a promise to myself that if I don't see him before August my last semester of college that I would part ways. ( I'm turning 25 he's 31 and separated)
