Has anyone had a velamentous cord insertion? We had our anatomy scan today and I was told I have a velamentous cord insertion. The tech told me that in my case, the cord goes up and around. She said it's not near the cervix which is good. But I'm just trying to figure out what all this means. I know it can cause growth restriction for the baby.. If you've had a velamentous cord insertion, can you please tell me more about it? Most of what I'm finding online has to do with the cord going g down by the cervix and that's no help for me..
