I need help teaching my baby to use a sippy cup or a straw!
Who has had luck teaching their babies to drink from a sippy cup or a straw? We started solids last month doing baby led weaning and I know you should try to incorporate a little bit of water to avoid constipation. We have tried straw cups and sippy cups and he just chews on the tip. If he does tip the cup back far enough for water to come out when he chews, he just lets it run out of his mouth. He really just likes to play with them. So to make sure he's getting a little bit of water, I pull some water into a straw and put the end right into his mouth and he drinks it that way. But I know this can't go on forever 😂 he has never used a bottle before because I'm a stay at home mom EBF , so I think that has a lot to do with it. Any tips for me?
