OPK help? for a newbie?

Okay, this is my first month tracking my cycle with OPKs. I started tracking shortly after my period ended. Period from 2nd- 5th. Positive opk on the 9th, decreased for several days. Continued tracking, had a few small "surges" of darker lines (not positive but darker than the previous days) - now today this. This is one week before my period is supposed to start again and after I have already ovulated this month. This is a blazing positive to me...am I misreading? If not, why is it this dark again at this time of the month? I took two today with both results below. These were taken an hour apart. Bottom one is the last test taken.
