Fundal height measuring large?

Question

Today I measured my belly and I'm 32 cm but I am only 26 weeks?

Is that normal measurement?

Usually my doctor measures me and says I'm fine but I wonder if he might just not be saying anything about it?

You most likely are measuring wrong.

That's a big difference. If the dr say you're fine then I would say you are most likely not getting the right spots. At my 21 week appointment I was measuring 23cm but the dr said there's not a huge difference so it was fine :)

Measuring your Dundalk height is a bit more envoloved than just running a measuring tape from top to bottom. There are two specific spots they measure from. Are you sure you found both of those specific spots? It's from the top of your pelvic bone to the top of your fundus. And the top of your fundus is not just the top of your belly. You need to be able to tell where it begins. You have to kind of dig your fingers in and find where the top of this hard "ball" starts.

I don't think I would measure myself.  The doctor knows the exact points it start and finish. Measuring yourself is just going to cause panic.
