Contractions or no???

Having really painful weird pains all around my stomach. I thought it might be gas so i used the bathroom but they continued even after so i tried laying on my left side and even then i just had another. I'm not rlly good at timing if i have to. I'm 36+5, could this be contractions or no???????

Download a contraction timer. Makes it easy. And if you're worried call the nurse line and see what they say.

I have had the same thing all night tonight. I called the nurse and she told me it was normal to have cramping like that because our bodies are getting ready for labor and if they get more intense to come in and get checked out. But they haven't increased or anything, they just feel really uncomfortable.

I had the same thing today. I work at a clinic with multiple OB docs so I popped in to see what's up. My OB and another said those pains were contractions and to go home and rest. If they get worse to go into the hospital and they would hook me up to monitor the contractions.

Moral of the story is, if it gets worse, either call the labor and delivery triage for advisement or just go in to be checked out. Either way, better safe than sorry!
