Ovulation Tests?? Help 😏

Okay, may be a dumb question to some... 
but how do I know WHEN to take an ovulation test? 
If I take it too early or too late will it say no?

I can't really "tell" when or even if my body is ovulating.

You take several over a few days rather than just one. Start on cycle day 10 and test in the early afternoon if testing once per day (mid morning and evening if testing twice per day). Don't use first morning urine unless the instructions specifically tell you to. Keep testing each day until the test line is as dark or darker than the control line. You will almost always see two lines. You will ovulate 12-24 hours after your first positive. If you are tracking other things like cm and know you usually get watery or egg white cervical mucus around ovulation you can wait to start using opks until you see you cm change from dry/sticky to wet.
