Yeast infection applicator help

Hello so my doctor told me to appy that vaginal cream for yeast infection i forgot the name & for some reason i have trouble with the applicator its so hard so it hurts when i inserted then when i inserted it in my vagina i see it come out so idk what i am doing wrong. All i want this yeast infraction to go away amu advice? Is there any home remedies? Thanks 😀
