Considering backing off how hard we try, and letting God take over. Opinions?

Kelsey • Morther of 1 sweet miracle (5), pregnant with baby #2 after almost three years trying with PCOS, and two hard losses. Praying for a safe pregnancy.

So we have been trying for about 8 months total (including a hard loss). I wanted to get pregnant by this cycle and due by the end of 2017 for so many personal and professional reasons (I am a teacher and timing when I miss school is important). But as of yesterday AF says that isn't happening.

Now I am tempted to not want to have baby until it would be due in June... but this means waiting 6 months and I really don't want to wait!

I am considering leaving it in God's hands. Meaning my husband and I would still try, but no charting or OPKs... like a no-preasure "if it happens then great" kind of attitude. Does anyone else do something like this? Is it less stressful? Do you feel more faithful by not trying to predict or control the timing of it?
