I had blood work done last week at my first fertility app with my obgyn because we've been ttc for 14 months and my obgyn called with my blood test results. She said my blood sugar is good, my thyroid is good, but it showed my prolactin is elevated and my cholesterol is high. (High cholesterol runs in the family) So she wants me to get my prolactin checked again in 3-4 weeks and I'm on day 2 of provera right now to induce my period since it's 3 weeks late. I've been looking on google and it says that having high prolactin can be associated with pcos??? I'm kinda freaking out now after seeing that. Is there anyone that was diagnosed with having high prolactin and didn't have pcos?? What did they do to get your prolactin lowered so that you could conceive?
