COMING OUT: How can I come out to my best friend?

Go to the movies together. Blurt it out while you're in line for popcorn. Laugh and cry and tell each other that you'll be best friends forever, even when you're old ladies in rocking chairs.

Your best friend is your bestie because they love spending time with YOU, girl. And you haven't changed one bit! Trust eve, you two will laugh about this someday: "Remember when you were so nervous to tell me that you liked girls?!"

Sadly, this is when some people find out who their "best friend" really is. When they stay together, sometimes it can be a little awkward.  Just remember to reassure each other and not get irritable or defensive when the other mentions a hottie of their preference. Just allow each other to express yourselves. If you have to repress yourselves for one another, that is the start of the pressure build up that leads to the hard feelings and resentment that drive friends apart. Be honest, be accepting, communicate. Because this person will be with you through break ups and life's problems. You gotta have each others' backs.

I’m going to be completely honest I don’t believe in ‘coming out’. Others  may but I just don’t. If ‘straight’ people don’t have to make a whole speech and conversation with the people around them that they are in fact ‘straight’ why do people in the LGBTQ+ community have to. I am a proud pansexual and I never ‘came out of the closet’ I just dated who and what gender I pleased. Again I get that some people don’t feel comfortable with this idea do not ‘coming out’ I just wanted to share.

I came out too three of my friends recently and none of them even gave a shit! I just went. “I’M BI!” And they answered, “nice.” And continued with another conversation.
I’m still kinda mad that they didn’t want to talk about it because I sort of wanted to but at least they accept me.

I came out to my best friend about two years ago, and she was super unsupportive... She hates whenever I talk about girls and treats me like a disgusting pervert for being bi. Honestly, it's made our friendship suffer so much, and has caused me so much sadness, anxiety, and inner conflict about my sexuality and faith. It makes me so sad to think, we've been friends since elementary school- best friends for eight years- and a little thing like who I'm attracted to causes so much hate and distrust? 😞
She doesn't see why she should accept me, which is really hurtful since my parents are really homophobic as well. At present, I only have two friends who I can talk to about this.

I still haven’t come out to one of my best friends. I kind of did when we were younger but I don’t think she quite understood what I meant. Her family is homophobic but I don’t think she is personally. I want to tell her, but I don’t want to have to hide it from her family because they are like family to me as well. I don’t really know what to do but I guess it will sort itself out.
