Mistreated for no reason?!

when I was with my boyfriend, and our friends. One of his besties invited his girlfriend whom I've met a few times before and I actually wanted to get to know her more. But then acted like she hasn't met me and confused me with someone that looks nothing like me. The whole time she was backhanded to me and then proceeded to start flirting with everyone. Just what is that?!
