What are some common signs?

So I went to the Dr yesterday and asked them to check me. I lost part of my mucus plug at 32+4 and the BH are getting intense, plus I've had a gut feeling for a long time that my little girl is going to come early. They said that my cervix is closed and they did a swab test to make sure I'm not leaking amniotic fluid. I'll have those results in a couple days. I was induced on my due date with my first so idk what it feels like to go into labor naturally. I also didn't have BH with my first so I'm scared that I won't notice my contractions being regular before it's too late. I'm super nervous to labor at home because I want to get to the hospital before it's too late to get an epidural. I'm worried about the whole situation... Especially if she does come early as I predict. So what are some other signs of labor that you ladies have experienced? I've seen articles about diharrea and tracking contractions but I want real world advice. What are some things that you ladies noticed happening in the couple weeks leading up to labor? Did you get diharrea? Did you suddenly become short of breath? Did you find it hard to sleep all of a sudden?
