Bath on period?

Do you take baths while in your period?
I'm on day one and it's heavy. I'm having cramps and really want to take a bath. I'm scared there will be a lot of blood in the water though.

My period pretty much stops when I'm in the water.

When I've done it I wasn't bleeding in the water. Go for it. Whatever happens happens. It's your own blood anyway.

Usually being in the water, the change in pressure will prevent a lot of blood from coming out. You can swim on your period without anything and be okay most of the time. You should be fine to take a bath! I've swam and taken baths on my period without anything and never had a problem!

I usually just turn the water on super hot and sit in our shower that way the water is still running on me and draining.
