thrush?

I breast-feed my daughter and typically it goes very well. For the past two days while she feeds she started crying and kicking her legs like she's in pain. I called the doctor and they told me to check her mouth for a white spots. I really haven't found any, The top of her gums seem a little white. Could this be thrush? The doctor told me to wipe out her mouth with a washcloth after feedings to help this. She also has been having green mucus like stools for the past week. Could all of this be connected? The doctor had me go off dairy for the weekend to see how that works. Has anyone experienced anything similar to this?
